HyLiST is a pioneering EU-funded project under the Horizon Europe programme, with the global push for safer, high-performance, and sustainable battery technologies. HyLiST is at the forefront of innovation, driving the next generation of solid-state lithium-ion batteries (SSBs).

The project focuses on hybrid solid electrolytes, cutting-edge cobalt-free LNMO cathodes, and high-energy Li-metal anodes, paving the way for the future of electric vehicles and aeronautics. The mission will be achieved through a three-step approach:
Development & scale-up of battery components
Understanding interfaces & enhancing performance
Digitalisation, recycling & validation”
