Meet the partners: IFP Energies Nouvelles

“IFPEN is the leader in modelling workpackage. This includes multi-scales key areas: modelling transport in the electrolyte at the microstructural scale, multiphysics modelling for the study of performance, aging, and safety at the cell scale, and system-level simulations for vehicle and aerospace applications. Additionally, IFPEN will contribute to economic and life cycle assessments, as well as testing, to assess the electrochemistry performance, swelling behaviour, and safety level of the produced cells within the HyLiST project.”

IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) is a major research and training player in the fields of energy, transport and the environment. From scientific concepts within the framework of fundamental research, through to technological solutions in the context of applied research, innovation is central to its activities, hinged around four strategic directions: climate, environment and circular economy – renewable energies – sustainable mobility – responsible oil and gas. 

IFPEN is leading WP7 “Multiphysics Multiscale modelling of SSB capturing ageing phenomena”. IFPEN outstanding team includes Sara Abada, Julien Bernard, Chloé Bouly, Nadège Brusselle-Dupend, Nicolas Guy, Gabriel Ducret, Michele Bardi, Alexandre Gibert, Matthieu de Sousa, Vincent Brochetto, Julien Garcia, and Xavier Guichet.
