ANDRITZ Sovema is part of the Andritz Group’s Division Battery. Based in Verona, Italy, since 1969 Sovema offers customized and turnkey solutions for lead-acid battery manufacturing, state-of-the-art equipment for lithium-ion cell lab & pilot production, and high-performance formation systems for energy storage. Sovema designs and produces innovative cell assembly lines for pouch, prismatic, and cylindrical cells. The product portfolio includes high-precision manual lines for exploring new advanced cells, flexible semi-automatic lines for validation in small batches, and fully automated lines for confirmation in pilot production. Sovema portfolio also includes assembly lines for Li-Metal Solid State Cells, able to handle multiple formats through single-sheet stacking, and integrated notching and punching in one machine

ANDRITZ Sovema participates in WP2 “Technical Requirements & Specifications” and WP8 “Industrial PoC Validation”. Its amazing team is composed by Nicola Benoni and Susanna Beltrame Azzalini.
