Meet the partners: Uppsala University

“We are happy to be part of HyLiST and contribute to understanding interphases in high voltage solid-state cells.”

Uppsala University focuses on modern commercial and next-generation Li-ion batteries and future battery chemistries, including solid-state. The main expertise lies in synthesis of electrode and electrolyte materials, electrochemical testing, and development of operando structural and interface characterisation techniques. Equally important is the development of battery models to understand the various processes occurring at cell level.

Uppsala University is leading WP5 “Interphase characterisation and optimisation” and participating in WP4 Hybrid solid electrolyte processing”. Their super team counts with Guiomar Hernández and Anastasia Teck.
