e are thrilled to unveil the HyLiST project, a project funded by the Horizon Europe programme through the CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency. This initiative is set to transform the European battery manufacturing industry and drive progress toward a greener, more sustainable future

What is HyLiST?

HyLiST addresses the urgent need for next-generation hybrid solid electrolytes, enabling the development of safer, high-performance solid-state Li-ion batteries (generation 4b) for application in both hashtag#automotive and hashtag#aeronautics industries. These cutting-edge batteries feature: 

➡️ A high-capacity cobalt-free cathode (LNMO)

➡️ A high-energy Li metal (LiM) anode

A collaborative European effort 

Led by the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, HyLiST brings together an interdisciplinary, expertise-led consortium comprising 13 European partners from 9 countries. Over the next 36 months, the project will develop a TRL6 sustainable manufacturing technology, showcasing both economic and ecological viability.

HyLiST not only addresses the technical challenges of solid-state batteries but also contributes to building a more hashtag#resilient and hashtag#sustainable Europe.
