HyLiST 2nd Press Release is out!

We are thrilled to share our 2nd Press Release, marking a major milestone: one full year of successful implementation for the HyLiST project.

Recently, our consortium gathered in Tampere, Finland, for our second General Assembly to celebrate technical breakthroughs and chart the course for the future of solid-state battery manufacturing.

Key Achievements from Year 1:

• Lithium-Metal Anodes: We’ve moved past lab-scale proofing to establish robust processes for anode production and surface engineering.

   

• Digital Excellence: A comprehensive “digital twin” toolbox has been validated, allowing us to simulate and optimize battery behavior with high precision.

   

• Industrial Readiness: We have defined strict industry benchmarks and sustainability specifications to ensure our technology is ready for large-scale production.

   

What’s Next?

As we enter the next phase, we are transitioning from component development to system integration. Our focus is now on upscaling, pouch cell validation, and developing rigorous testing protocols to verify real-world performance.

As our Scientific Coordinator, Sam Hasanpoor (AIT), noted: the team has “what it takes to thrive and deliver high-level, innovative results”.
