The video from HyLiST 2nd General Assembly has arrived

As promised, the HyLiST 2nd General Assembly video is here! The event was a masterclass in collaboration and technical strategy, and we couldn’t be prouder of what has been achieved in Year 1.

Let’s recap the past 12 months: from concept to component. We have successfully transitioned the Gen4b concept into tangible, testable cell components. But what does this mean, exactly?

  • Li Metal Anode: Established a stable roll-to-roll pulsed laser deposition (PLD) route producing 10μm Li layers with integrated surface engineering.
  • Hybrid Solid Electrolyte: Developed formulations balancing conductivity and mechanical robustness, compatible with both wet and dry processing.
  • LNMO Cathode: Successfully translated to high-solid content coatings with areal capacities near 3 mAh/cm².
  • Interface Stability: Established in-situ and post-mortem methods to monitor and mitigate dendrite formation and oxidative reactions.

What’s next for Year 2? Scaling up!
Our focus now shifts to TRL 6 demonstration. This includes dry processing trials for electrolytes, pilot-line coating for LNMO cathodes, and the assembly of multilayer pouch cells for rigorous validation.
